A historic moment in many ways

15th February 2021 will go down in India’s history as the day when the government of India made a path-breaking announcement to liberalize maps to achieve its vision of USD five trillion economy! The announcement comes at an apt time when advances in mapping technology have become the base for innovation and direct contribution in mission-mode projects like smart cities, highways, Clean Ganga, and the Digital India initiative. Led by India’s Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the India Geospatial Guidelines will boost the economy, advance self-reliance and enable co-ownership of national ambition.
